Our team is highly skilled in meeting the individual needs of the residents. We partner with each person, family, and loved ones to build a care and activity plan.

We aim to enable residents to enjoy meaningful activities daily, be empowered to make decisions and have their voices heard. Residents can prepare their own breakfast, make drinks, enjoy the home’s wide range of daily activities and be supported with independence.

Residents’ interests and hobbies lead the range of 1:1 and group activities we offer and organise various social outings.

We also ensure that people keep in touch with family and the wider community as much as possible.

The Cedars is in Clacton-on-Sea – a special home with a wonderfully caring and consistent staff team, many of whom have been with us for years. The building has a warm and welcoming feel, and our residents live together safely as part of a community.

Environment

The single bedrooms all have toilet ensuite facilities, and in addition, there are two accessible bathrooms. There is a large TV lounge, and a lift to ensure all areas of the home are accessible. Our beautiful, enclosed gardens and patio area are great spaces for people to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine in safety.

On admission

Settling into a new home can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. We warmly welcome new residents and make sure they settle in, spending lots of time together to get to know their needs and wishes, likes and dislikes.
